Azure OpenAI Studio
Procurement to first prompt: the end-to-end experience for getting access to Azure OpenAI, standing up a resource and deployment, and running a first request in the Playground.

Azure OpenAI was pre-release. Enterprise customers had to get from an access request to a working model without a map, and every step touched a different part of Azure.
I owned the UX for that path inside Azure Cognitive Services: procurement and onboarding, the first-run Playground, resource and deployment management, and the settings that tie a subscription, a resource, and a role assignment together. The work ran from user flows and wireframes through interactive prototypes, with daily design guidance to engineering through development, testing, and public release.
- Mapped the onboarding flow from access request to first deployment, then designed the user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for each step.
- Designed the Playground's empty and first-run states so a new user is guided to create a deployment before they can be blocked by one.
- Designed the Get Started hub, Settings (directory, resource, role assignments), and the Token Analyzer.
- Built and documented a Figma component library for Azure Cognitive Services aligned with the Fluent Design System, and mentored designers on component architecture and library practice.
- Provided daily design guidance to engineering through development, testing, and public release.
Shipped to public preview. The component library became the shared source for the Cognitive Services UX team and improved library performance and adoption across it.
[Add one or two numbers here if you have them: designers on the library, screens shipped, time from access to first prompt.]
